One of the units is wired directly into your modem (with cable provided by eero). The other units communicate wirelessly with one another and do not need to be wired. They do need to be plugged into an electric outlet.

They just plug into your existing modem. Works great so far. Only installed about a week

They can be wired via Ethernet port. But ap #2 and #3 need to be connected downstream of your main ap (not in parallel). Buy a splitter.

Should work regardless of what your connection speed is, that is governed by your modem not these routers.

None. This modem uses 5 GHZ. It does have 2 Ethernet ports though.

No, this is good upto 350 Mbps only. Check the specs of advanced mesh systems.

Wifi 6 is still kind of new tech. So it's still being improved. If you don't any devices that support the new tech, not worth it. First of all for wifi 6 to work, you devices such as your phone, laptop and tablet must have a WiFi 6 chip in there and second you need to have a WiFi 6 router like asus ax88u. I bought this thing to have better coverage and wifi reception. Only thing bad , there is no web ui to make any router changes and you pay either a yearly or monthly subscription for ad removal and network protection (optional, not mandatory).
