Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 30 was developed first and foremost as a moisturizer with the added benefit of broad spectrum uva/uvb protection. As such, to help better protect your toddler's delicate skin, we recommend applying a separate sunscreen product. Thanks!

It contains both physical and chemical sunscreens. Here is the active-ingredients list: HOMOSALATE (10%), MERADIMATE (5%), OCTINOXATE (5%), OCTOCRYLENE (2%), ZINC OXIDE (6.3%).
