You always put oils last on the face because they are the heaviest and take the longest to absorb. Putting it after the serum and moisturizer helps to seal the moisture in better than putting it on before moisturizer.
Absolutely...I use it on my face after my shower; it absorbs quickly without oily residue; one of the best facial oils...right up there with jojoba and almond oils.
No it’s not common, it is possible that it might have contaminated due to various reason. I would say to to return it and get a new one, a batch can get contaminated during production.
