No there is no thermometer built inside. The Echo show does poll weather information from the internet so it can tell you the temperature outside, but it does not tell you the temperature inside

Don’t think there’s a set amount that can be connected. You can buy the 3 pack of blink cameras with the show 5 and it works or buy the cameras and a different show separately. I read somewhere you can add more cameras. I want to say 10 but also say it doesn’t matter the amount of cameras.

To be honest, I didn’t really notice any difference in these two echos, I still use both, one on the nightstand and the other in our kitchen. They seem to be the same. I use both for clocks, weather, timers, and to stream Amazon play lists. And of course everything else Alexa is great doing.
