Hello there, yes we use it to control mice. We soak a cotton ball with the oil and put it at all entry points. This seems to deter them as they don't like the small off peppermint.

I wasn't in the kitchen where they make it, but ithe label says it is ONLY peppermint oil. This is the most pleasant of all peppermint oils I've ever had, and I've used many different brands. Of course you can, that’s how candles have different fragrances... it’s bc of the oils they put in.
