The seller went into all the trouble to promote this product as certified organic, 100% pure, natural cold pressed, unrefined hexane free, cruelty free etc. and then puts it in a plastic bottle without mentioning that fact in the product description. If you look up whether castor oil in a plastic bottle is good for you, there are references that suggest that ‘castor oil will absorb chemicals from the plastic bottle and then carry them into the body when the oil is applied to the delicate skin of the human body’. Whether this is fact of fiction is my choice, the seller duty is to provide the customer with all relevant information to enable them to make an informed purchase, and I believe that given the sensitive nature of things that we put on our face, the difference between a plastic and a glass bottle is not immaterial in this case, especially when I will not use the product. Thank you.
