This series of books have a well thought out story that involves the lives of so many people. It is well written and down to earth, putting you in the characters minds. It brings a possible future of earth that could one day happen and shows man's strengths , hopes and courage. Through difficult times. Not recommended for readers of Sci-Fi well steeped in hard-science-fiction -- or life experience.
As the Four-Part-Set continues there are more and more editing/spelling/punctuation errors. These were probably dictated into voice-to-text software and then glossed over.
As a guilty pleasure it is mostly fun but you might have to speed-scan through some of the intractable bits of narrative.
Would vastly improve by massage from a ruthless editor.
