My first set lasted less than the 30 day in store warranty from Best buy so I returned it and got the one I still have today. The picture got a Black line across the screen about 6 inches up. It's a 42" not a 50 perhaps that is the difference.
But they are good units. Can't judge all by the experiences of a few.
