The third installment of John Wick is an unremarkable yet a very much fun movie to watch. It's an unpretentious movie that doesn't take itself too seriously (maybe a bit on the excessive side of things) and one which packs enough action to satisfy everybody and keep the viewer entertained throughout. I did feel it got a tiny bit tedious compared to the two brilliant movies. But this is unmistakably a John Wick movie.
All in all, missed opportunities but still fun. 4 stars for the movie.
However, I had to slam this listing specifically for the lack of digital copy. The stinginess or whatever the reason is is unacceptable. The US version comes with one. The first two movies came with one. All of Lionsgate releases come with one. And then there's this version which gives me a useless coupon to download a discounted game. No, thanks.
The disks are without a doubt the best way to watch this movie (they're really good! The bitrate, the transfer, Dolby Atmos and Vision...) but a digital copy is useful for those times you don't have access to a player. Not giving one with this release is not something I'll give a pass for.
