This is a nice lamp and suits my purpose.
However, if the lower arm is extended to the left toward the switch, beyond the 90 degree upright position the lamp tends to tip over. Obviously the base is not heavy enough to prevent this. The bulb , which is bright enough, has a yellow tint. This is not a big problem as a clearer one of 10W or less could be substituted.
