The Kindle arrived with a defective USB port. The USB cable could not be plugged into the device. Awaiting a replacement. The screen resolution and quality seemed really crisp and clear, seemed like I was looking at paper. However, the user interface is slow and sluggish and you have to be patient with commands and menus loading slowly.

I will update my review and rating on request and after I receive a non defective replacement.

Same-day update: Amazon got a replacement device to me in under 24 hours. Turns out it’s the USB cable that came with the Kindle that was defective, as it doesn’t fit in the new one either. The new cord works. - I originally rated this 1 star due to a defective product out of the box. I have since updated my rating accordingly. If the user interface would flow more smoothly, this would be 5 stars.
