Customer Review

Not all USB devices are getting recognised when connected over the switch, or when switching between the sources. Have to unplug from both sources and power to fix it. Would not buy it again.

Typically, I use the following hardware:

• PC with motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 1.0) (tried USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports)
• Laptop: Lenovo P50 (USB 3.0)|se|google|72468630104|Lenovo_P50|IIP_NX_Lenovo_ThinkPad+-+P|694624549&s_kwcid=AL!3736!3!254696575572!e!!g!!lenovo%20p50&ef_id=Vx26QgAAAZUYZAlA:20180309211709:s
• Keyboard: Logitech G110
• Mouse: Logitech G300s
• Headset: Corsair Vengeance 2000 (USB wireless dongle)

I also tried connecting a BENQ BL3201PH monitor (, but monitor USB features do not work properly(card reader, USB hub, software monitor controls). So, I dot connect it to the switch.

I have 5V external power source connected (tried multiple adapters), and I also tried it without the external power.

• During boot, I cannot go into BIOS or select a boot device.
• Keyboard extended features (the G keys specifically) do not get activated when switching between PC and laptop.
• When plugging in or removing input devices, devices do not always get detected or released in Windows 10 Ultimate/Windows 10 Enterprise properly.
• USB HDDs do not appear to work with the switch.
• When switching between PC and laptop, occasionally, no input devices are detected. Switching back does not re-activate devices on the PC/laptop where the devices used to work before switching. The switch box needs to be disconnected completely from all power sources (5V and USB ports) before it starts functioning again.
