MUST HAVE in winter (especially if you’re in a northern country like I am). I purchased this light to support healthy sleep hygiene and I noticed a difference in my quality of sleep by sitting with the light in the morning when I wake up. The difference was noticeable within the first days of use, and only progressed the more I used it. It’s become a sort of medical device that not only supports my mental health; this wonderful happy light has proven to also support my pain management, as the improved quality of rest results in stronger tolerance for pain.
That said, I would like to share my experience with the company when I had an issue with my light. I had hoped to find a way to get a new charger. The quality of the product itself is great! Just had a little bump and I reached out to the company to see what could be done to get my light therapy going again. Well, the response was expedient (excellent customer service). The company asked me to send them the details from my original purchase and they would get back to me.
Amazingly, as soon as I sent the information requested, customer service informed me that the company would be sending me a new light! I darn near cried because I wanted my light working again so badly. This is a great company that values quality of service as much as quality of product. The product is of high quality. Can’t believe the price I paid for it… almost felt like I robbed the place when it arrived after my original order.
Love this company and product so much I used my American account to send Verilux Happy Lights to loved one. It’s the kind of gift people don’t know they need until they have it and then wonder how they ever lived without it. My mom sits with her light every morning while she does her makeup (I was kind of wondering her secret to upping her makeup game).
