The Amazon price for this was better than what I could find locally. It's an OEM unit so expect quality performance. It's often the case that by the time a UPS battery wears out (typically 4 - 5 years in this case) the price of a new UPS complete with battery is less than that of the replacement battery. In this instance, not so. The replacement made sense. This battery is actually two batteries hooked together which is what this Cyberpower UPS needs. Removing the old battery took some effort as it's a tight fit but not really problematic. Inserting the new battery was something else. There seems to be a latch or catch inside the UPS battery compartment. You can slide the battery about 3/4 way and after that you can push all you want but it just won't go in. My solution was to back the battery out all the way, then slide it in fast as possible so the inertia of all that considerable weight popped whatever was stopping it before. Success! I took a star away for this challenge because some people might not get past it. The fault really lies with the UPS battery compartment but readily overcome if you figure out how. Good purchase.
