I started out loving these cameras — at first. Then Blink did something to their App and ever since I’ve had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS and the entire home camera system is uncontrollable! I’ve emailed tech support over 5 times and each and evey time they cut & paste the same response blaming “my wifi network”. But this issue (error on attached screenshot) happens on my wifi, my phone and tables cellular connection, and also on the other 5 private home wifi networks I’ve tried to use. It’s clearly an issue on Blinks end, but they refuse to address it. In final email I was told to install some 3rd party “private network security scanner” which is not developed by Blink or Amazon and the apps terms of use claims it scans and stores everything on my network and traffic. This is the app they said they needed run to “solve my problem”. Yeah right. Again, this happens on and off with both multiple wifi networks and even cellular.

Anyways.. I’m now stuck with all my cameras in “ARMED” mode and can’t turn them off due to these errors with their broken app.

After 6 months of these cameras, they’re now uncontrollable and will be coming down tomorrow and replaced with a camera system that actually has a functioning app and/or another way to view and control them other then a broken cloud system.

You’ve been warned.. cheap products are cheap for a reason.
