This product keeps the wear/strain low on the hitch when hauling items with low tongue weight (or items with high tongue weight but no axle such as bike or dirt bike hauler). I love it and would recommend it for the price and ease of use. Just don't tighten it too much, it is very strong and can actually crush the hitch insert.
