I bought this printer. I have never had so many problems. I tried 15 times to setup according to the installation instructions, (BTW worst instructions I have ever seen)
I finally called Canon tech support, Watson hold for more than a hour, when they finally answered i was told they were closing in 5 min so I would have to call back.( I was not impressed)
Called back the next day, on hold for another hour. Tech told me to download a different installation program, which I did. With the tech’s help I finally got it to work with USB cable. I figured all I would have to do was to share printer in Settings (Wrong) settings, didn’t recognize it so I tried to set it up wifi! Two hours, and i got it to work. Now I tried to print from other PC’s on the network, again no printer found error, finally got it to work by installing, using the IP address, Print quality seemed OK could not get it to print from my IPhone
Next day I tried to print from my office Computer in the basement, “Printer not found Error”
Fed up with this printer so I sent it back
Bought an Epson Printer, had it printing in 15 minutes, printed from all my computers, IPhone, I-pad.
Network recognized it immediately
Don’t make the same mistake as me. Stay as far as you can from this printer
