There is a YouTube video on installation. I followed that and read some tips online about installing tempered glass screen protectors. Also read Kia Kaspian's (sp?) review on installation. That was helpful.
The UV light is actually decent to cure the glue. Got a little glue on the side of the phone but was able to scrape it off with my fingernail and an alcohol pad.
Screen clarity is good. I have one small bubble under the protector. Probably the size of a 12pt "period" Not noticeable when the screen is dark. More noticeable with a white background.
I think the finger print reader is about 80% of what it would be without the screen protector. I've only had the protector on for a few hours, but have been trying the FP reader quite a bit... It's a bit finicky but liveable.
I only have had my phone about 2 weeks before getting this protector, so I don't have a lot of experience with the FP reader. I usually just let it do facial recognition, but to use Google Pay, I think I need the FP reader to work.
I have 3 FP's of my thumb registered on the phone.
I am probably going to see if they have protectors still for the s8 that I gave my son, and an iPhone 11 for my wife
