My purchase of Gorilla Super Glue was largely based on the positive reviews posted from Customers whom had purchased this product. I needed Super Glue to repair part of a metal tip that had seemingly just broken off and I thought I would give it a try. I was very impressed with the anti clog cap as well as the small nozzle at the top for easy distribution and application. This is especially important for reuse as well as to avoid an excess amount of being used unnecessarily.

I found after using this Super Glue that it did not hold as quick and strong enough than I originally had hoped. As a backup, as well as a bit of a Product Test, I purchased Super Glue from the Dollar Store. In this particular example, the Dollar Store brand surprisngly was a lot more stronger than the Gorilla Super Glue. I'm not sure why but it was. Again, I didn't apply a lot which have may be the initial belief; I used a very small amount, equivalent to a pea drop. The Dollar Store brand did stand up to the test and more so reattached the broken piece quickly.

My reasoning for the difference simply was either I had a bad "batch" for the Gorilla Super Glue, or I needed to use a significant amount more for metal Items other than the pea drop as directed on the Instructions. I tried to be careful when using these Products because of the safety warnings attached to them. You don't need a excess amount from lying around when you either have kids, pets or both around.

This may not be an inferior product but I suggest that you may want to have either 1 or 2 different Brands as well just in Case. It may be a bit costly in the end but also depends on how desparate you are to repair your Item. Just do your research prior and what you plan to use it for.
