I loved this book, I read it in a matter of a couple of days. I'm not usually one for the "journalist interviewing someone to tell their life story" type of device, but I think it worked well here, with an excellent twist at the end. I found myself very interested in the life of Evelyn Hugo, ranging from sad to heartbreaking to happy to sexy and everything in between. It isn't as "fluffy" as you think of when you think of a great beach read, but I would have loved to read this book while laying out on a beach somewhere. It tackles some tough themes, such as sexuality, domestic violence, acceptance and more while being accessible and easy to read and really sucking you into the story. I highly recommend.
