I had extremely dry feet which have been terrible for years in which I tried using pumice stones/sponges with very little effect. The first time I used this (soaking my feet and then patting them dry and shaving away) and wow it was gross yet amazing at how much I took off. It was like grating Parmesan cheese. I didn't use any pressure or force and merely just moved it back and forth over the dead skin. I did it over two sessions in the same day and my feet have not been this soft since I was a child. I know use it about once a month to maintain the smoothness and it's made a world of difference. The blades are sharp but I never cut myself or my toes or anything.
