At first, it wasn’t allowing me to add my children’s profile. Did all I could think of to make it work. Shut off, restart, deregister, re-register. I don’t find myself bad at gadgets so I was a bit irritated finding it hard to make this “kids” gadget to work. After wasting hours of figuring out, I gave up and decided to call customer service. It’s a good thing that I got connected with one right away.

Anyways, I was told that the Fire 7 units (got 2 of them) were set up for U.S. and I am in Canada. I did not argue (although I’m pretty sure I was logging into So the CS rep was able to reset them and I got them set up and working afterwards. It was good to have the help but it could have been better if I was able to do it myself in lesser time. Another thing I didn’t quite like is the episodes don’t play continuously. So if you play PinkFong song which is barely a minute in length, you gotta press play button to play the next video. Bit in general, i like the apps, games, and videos. They’re totally suitable for children. Got one year free subscription with Freetime Unlimited too so it’s good. But I don’t really want to recommend this product.
