I find that there is no bitter taste with these beans and normally buy light or medium roast beans. When cleaning my automatic coffee machine between refills of my bean hopper, this brand has far less clogged grinds in the chute, indicating to me that they might be less oily.
What I love about this company is that their ECO2Roast process is better for the environment and they are Canadian as well. Plus their prices are very good.
