Thomas King’s “Thumps Dreadfulwater” series moves up three notches of intensity for part 3. The wit, playfulness, story and characters are superb. Having grown up in a small town myself, it’s more the things you don’t know about people which always catches one by surprise. A tight pace together in combination with the author’s other merits, moves this into the 5 star category .
