Bought the Wyze Camera Outdoor wireless camera with base station and 3x extension cameras for my home interior. Cameras were well packaged and definitely look like great cameras, packaging similar to Apple products. Was excited to use them. Limited information in the packaging, a small three fold pamphlet that indicates nothing much other than DL the Wyze app. Set up base station as indicated through app and paired 3x cameras. Everything worked for the first 12 hours, then the problems started. Cameras went offline and wouldnt connect to base station or show any video.
Required firmware update, no instructions other than going into device settings and initiating the firmware update which failed 6+ times. This isnt a complicated process except for the fact it doesnt actually update the firmware even beside the base station. I looked online but nothing relevant to this newer camera, just mention of uploading firmware onto the microSD card and putting into the camera...what a joke, these are brand new and should work out of the box!!! Removed cameras from my Wyze app to repair, wouldnt repair, took forever to find the Wyze number which waited online for tech support no answer. Basically left here with a bunch of camera cubes and cabling and no video monitoring. They worked well when they were running for one evening. No time for unreliable equipment. Simple, returning this crap. Guess you get what you pay for, a camera worth $50. Made in China
