“You know this changes…things.”
“Things have already changed,” she whispers back. - Love Unexpected by Q.B. Tyler

Love Unexpected by one of my author queens, aka the incredible Q.B. Tyler is LIVE!!🥳🎉 Love Unexpected is a deliciously taboo, enemies to lovers, slow burn romance that follows the relationship of Stassia and her stepfather Dominic!

There was something about this book that had me giddy and smiling from the moment I picked it up. That ecstatic feeling only increased as the book progressed! I was honestly dreaded anytime I had to put the book down😅 Which is why I read this book in 2 sittings - staring ‪at 2am‬ to avoid interruptions (I have some solid dark circles rn for anyone that is curious😂)

Anyway, Q.B. Tyler’s writing in this book was phenomenal!! I loved how Q.B. made this book super taboo with some sad aspects, while managing to keep it fairly lighthearted. It was just a beautiful unconventional love story that I could not get enough of! The heroine Stassia is probably the sassiest heroine I have ever read, and I have to say I loved how much of a spitfire she was! She was bold and confident and stubborn as hell! Our hero Dominic... damn he was just a snack and a half!! 😍 He was protective and caring ugh, he was just freaking swoony!!🙌🏻 And then Dominic and Stassia together... let’s just say they were spicy AF! 🔥🔥 Not to mention I loved how we got to see their relationship shift from them being constantly at each others throat to them having to lean on one another and then eventually learn to heal one another. Even for such a taboo relationship the timing and the way everything unfolded felt real.

So if you are in the mood for a taboo, age gap, romance, that is more on the lighthearted side, that is also PACKED with stream,🔥 has great character, and some fun twists I definitely recommend checking this one out!! 🤩
