So I'm not an essential oils expert by any means, but the vanilla smelled a bit weird and not very vanilla-y. I only just started experimenting with essential oils, but I know that many of these oils made by Chinese manufacturers are often not what they seem.
I searched online for information on the Nature's Philosophy brand, and all that came up was some trademark info. There is no way to confirm where they source their ingredients to make this supposedly pure oils and scents, so I feel a bit apprehensive about using it. Most likely it will get thrown away. If you cannot trace the manufacturing process back to the sources that they use, how do we really know what is in the product?
My generation (millennials) and those younger than me place a lot of value on company transparency. Chinese branded companies selling on Amazon get to hide behind this corporate giant.
I'm not sure I can recommend this product in good faith. There's something not right about the smell, and it makes me uneasy knowing it came from China.
