I find this movie boring, don’t care who the actor is. or was. it’s definitely “Not” an action movie
by any means and the story did not say it was. there is no running and hiding in someone’s apartment.
like other spy movies. like some claim they though it was. hence their negative two stars.
the only negative for me is “Cumberbatch” no good for this role especially the bedroom scene.
for me too it’s missing some of the interaction of the Russian operative he was dealing with. from the start.
but a very sad story about MI6 and there willingness to let you suffer for their ineptness. But its funny.
watching the real Greville Wynne. he seem like he would do it all over again.
but after reading some of the history of Wynne’s story. this guy could tell some extraordinary lies.
he wrote a pair of books. The Man from Moscow and the Story of Wynne and Penkovsky and the Man from
Odessa. that were riddle with falsehoods as claimed by Nigel West. who has written books on British and
American intelligence organizations. and also claim it was pathological with him. the more you know eh.
