***This is a very early review - I *just* got this capture card and have only tested it for the last hour, so may update this at a later time.***

- SO FAR -
This is proving to be quite a stellar capture card. Passthrough works *VERY* well, and YES(!!!) it does indeed do 4k60 HDR 4:4:4 output! (The website doesn’t specify, but have officially tested it and it works!!)

There are some technical details to consider. Firstly, don’t forget to set up the pins as necessary for you (details for what each pin does are on the bottom of the device, as well as in the manual *and* on the Amazon listing). Using it out-of-the-box with Streamlabs OBS gives a darkened and overly saturated stream image (not the passthrough - that works just fine). I had to change the properties of the input to get a good image (Rec 709, 1080p, 60 fps, Full is the setup I chose and works quite well), plus had to add a filter to fix the gamma (used the Colour Key filter and only had to change the gamma to 0.2). Once it’s all setup, it looks great!

In addition, there doesn’t *seem* to be any audio crackle like I’ve experienced with the foscomax 4k capture cards, so that’s always a positive!

I did try loading Netflix on my PS4 and full disclosure: it will display the image, but in the initial experiment it only played the background audio track and not the full audio track, so couldn’t hear voices, just the background sound. It was odd, but I also don’t plan on streaming Netflix so it’s fine for me.

It also has quite a bit of heft! It genuinely feels well made, with an aluminum body and everything, with a nice premium feeling, which is a pleasant surprise, particularly given its price!

Only odd detail for me is that the pins setup only shows 4 pins, but mine came with 5, so I have no idea what the 5th pin does. I may experiment with it at some point, but for the moment I’m perfectly happy with how it’s setup.

All in all: so far this is an excellent capture card! I will update if I notice anything unusual or if anything goes awry down the line.
