Peppermint is my kryptonite and it is in like 95% of toothpastes and 99% of mouthwashes. So avoiding peppermint (and spearmint and menthol) also involves not getting fluoride, and this was why I was recently getting all these little cavities constantly. The dental hygienist who took the time to talk to me, we figured that by avoiding peppermint and using natural toothpastes, I was also not getting fluoride. Luckily some brands make kid versions without peppermint and with fluoride, so that's what I got. And the price is good, more than the usual store brands, but less than the natural non-peppermint non-fluoride ones I used before.
