After much research and reviews I decided to cave and buy this steamer. I was unsure about initially purchasing this product based on the pictures and reviews written here. I am still curious as to how people think a steamer works. If you’re careful and understand that the steam is hot you will not cause burns on your body. While this steamer is not the quality and heat that an industrial steamer provides this comes pretty close to a professional one. I took photos of which I will try to add in a little bit of before and after. I am pretty impressed with the results. The one thing I will have to say is that the container for the water is very small and I had to refill it twice for two jackets (which is still pretty impressive). Heavy materials such as heavy polyesters requiere a little more patience but it does do the job. I would say this turbo one is a better investment than the no name brands. If you’ve used any conair product before you’ll know that it’s not professional but it is relieable to get the job done.
If you’re going to steam and it’s your first time I suggest reading up on how to keep your skin from harm as I do not recommend any steamer for a rookie. Be cautious always as it is an electronic and never turn the steamer upside down - it’s mean to be held upright - if you turn it upside down burns are your fault not the steamers.
Overall great purchase it’s a little bit big for travel but if you don’t mind the size then it’s perfect.
