My wife has an old Schwinn e-bike, that was a real pain to put on the bike rack on the back of the SUV.
It is the kind that straps to the back door. Before buying this bar, I would have to flip the bike upside down to get it on that rack because it is a female bike and has no top bar. What a pain and the bike being upside down sat on the rack on a huge angle. I bought this bar just before we went away with the bikes and it is fantastic! Takes less than a minute to put on and take off and works great as the bar at the top that the bike does not have. What a simple but very effective design!
