    Maggie Fischer is originally from Oregon, but settled in Seattle, Washington after receiving her B.A. in English from Gonzaga University. As the daughter of a children’s librarian, she has a special place in her heart for all books, but especially books for children. From co-writing the award-winning board book series Wild Bios to developing personalities for 180 quirky cats for Hasbro’s Lost Kitties, Maggie is no stranger to creating licensed and original content that is fun, funny, and informative. She has written books for Nickelodeon, Disney, Mattel, Dreamworks, Smithsonian, and Discovery, and has experience with an array of novelty formats. Bought this for my great grandson (3 yrs old) and within a couple of hours all the flaps were either torn off or will be soon. Very poor quality and a waste of money. He has other flap books and this has not happened to any of them.

This book was given to my two-year-old as a gift by his great-grandmother. My son is only open to the flaps on his own two times since getting the book in the mail today. A bunch of the small flaps have already ripped off from opening them two times. After opening all of the flops one to two times every single flap in this book the crease is already ripping. If my two-year-old sits and reads this book by himself every single flap will be ripped off within a day. It sucks that the quality is not as great as it should be as I have many books with flaps that are not ripping at the crease within 5 minutes of reading the book and only opening and closing the flaps two times. My new my son is not ripping them open he is opening and closing them normally like any of his other books with flaps and does not have this issue with the flaps ripping within 5 minutes of opening the book. I do not recommend this book at the flaps rip off and will not last very long and you will end up with a book with no flaps
