Meet Kitten & Friends illustrator Tekla Huszár!
Hi, my name is Tekla Huszár, I'm from Hungary. As an artist, I sculpt, paint, and illustrate stories. I have been drawing characters based on Indian tales and legends since I was a child. Harmony, colorful nature, animals, friendship and humor have always captivated me. Not to speak about curious kittens!
Illustrating children’s books is my favorite thing to do. Being a mother, I really enjoy reading
stories of every kind, immersing myself in the secret realm of a child’s limitless magination. I find great joy in creating the characters for the stories I’m asked to illustrate. Using my imagination to make them appear to others is such a pleasure. This is why I have loved bringing Kitten and all of his friends to life.
Getting to know Kitten and all his friends – Butterfly, Squirrel, Monkey and many more – has been so much fun! I know that you, too, will enjoy getting to know Kitten and Friends.

About the author

Hi, my name is Aviva Gittle and I love to tell stories. Stories about flies who wear shorts, kittens who talk to snakes, and kids who do crazy things. Like turn into a bagel or try to bounce to the moon on a trampoline.
Aviva Gittle stories are professionally illustrated by artists all over the world, including: Carlos Brito in Brazil, Andres Cornejo of Argentina, Jennifer Chappell in the USA, and Tekla Huszár of Hungary.
I also partner with great story writers and editors, including British author Mark Megson. Mark and I wrote Moon Jump, Mary's Magic Word, and Snack Attack!
Aviva Gittle Publishing offers many great stories including Mort the Fly, Kitten & Butterfly, Gatito y Mariposa, In Nana's Arms, and Moon Jump. Most stories will be available in both English and Spanish. To keep current on new books and other Gittle news, follow me on Twitter: @AvivaGittle. Visit www.GoToGittle.com.

Another lovely Kitten tale about friendship, and how to be a good friend to others.

In this book, Kitten meets Squirrel. Both having fluffy tails a conversation soon ensues as to how they both use them. What game can they both enjoy and play together? As well as being amusing, this well-written book is also educational. Learn what squirrels use their tails for. There is a great moral presented at the end also. IMPORTANT to note that in the physical copy of the book there are coloring pages at the end. Naturally these are NOT in the Kindle version so if you have a colorer in your family you may want to consider purchasing a physical copy. It will be worth it as the illustrations are superb. I was not required to write a review but chose to do so. Thanks, Liz

I loved the images drawn in this book and I'm know readers will fall in love with these furry characters as well.
A great book to read to your young ones to teach valuable lessons on what it's like to show kindness to others.

The playful dialog and action compares and counters the abilities of these two fuzzy new friends, and the story ends up with a nice lesson for young readers.
Gittle's text seems to flow better with each volume, and Tekla Huszár's illustrations have reached a point of near-photo-realistic finesse in many places.
I love this collaboration and series! Great work, ladies!
