The dark elves are at it again and Val is trying to kick their ass, what kind of nefarious plot are the dark elves hatching? Why is family such a pain in the ass sometimes, especially dragon sisters? Will a hunky kickass dragon get closer to Val? How funny is this book? (there is some definite funnyness) Will there be some non-pain-in-the-ass family stuff occuring? All these questions and more will mostly be answered as this kickass urban fantasy series continues, another great read, can't wait to continue with Val and Zav's adventures!

These books are great to read. They are entertaining with a mix of humour and quotable lines. I really enjoy the main character and her strength as well as her growth as a character. I like that Thad and Amber made it into the book even briefly and I hope they are in more books. They really add another dimension to Val's character. The growing relationship with Zav is also great. I'm curious to see how it'll all work. As Willard keeps asking for a wedding invite, I wonder if there will be one.

It's great (and too easy) o get lost in the story. Don't want it to end!

Im really loving this series. I like Val's silly sense of humour, the strong women who appear in it, Sindari and Val's wonderful friendship and of course the mighty Lord Zav and his uncertainty that's he's in control of anything. The thing that makes me love Val the most though is that she is 40 and a mother... every other character you hear of is in there early 20's. Which seems mind blowing to me because when i was in my twenties I didn't know my arse from my elbow.
Thank you for writing a character that is an older bad ass woman. Please do continue. :)

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series, of Zac and Val, but the ending is too soon.
What happens when Val meets her Elven family, what training does she receive, indeed, what training does she get for her Sword Chopper
Can Val talk Zac into an Earth style Wedding, that would be great, especially if her Boss was her best Maid. With her friends involving Val in the Coffee shop, being good at sales.

Does Val and Zac settle down on Earth or in another solar? Would Val stop working to raise young children, who are human Dragons?
We need another couple of books or more, to finish the series please Lindsay

I think this is my favourite one of the series so far. I love how the characters are developing. Pleeeeeease write more quickly. I love all your series but this is becoming the one I want to read most. Dragons, romance adventure, a goblin making a trebuchet out of office supplies and the fate of the entire world at stake. What’s not to love?! It kept me up way too late and made me smile. If you’ve not read Lindsay’s books then they are all well worth reading.

Loving this series from Lindsay Buroker. I'm leaving this review as I would like to read more. I identify with Val's sarcasm completely and her need for independence. A strong female role model with enough sensitivity where it counts, family and not letting your friends or yourself down. Looking forward to how this series is going to develop. There is so much scope for at least another 4 books; I would guestimate. Bare minimum. So, I will sit and watch this space 👀

As the books expand so do Val and Zav's personalities, can't help but wonder if Amber and Zondia find common ground as teenagers and what lurks beneath the surface of the dreaded Shauna.
