About Alex Goss
Alex is a huge football fan who became a parent. From humble beginnings in the Midlands, Alex did what almost all other young boys did - play, live and breathe football. Life has taken him on a few different journeys (to football stadiums across the country mainly) but perhaps the biggest journey of all for Alex was his venture into fatherhood.
"I've always had a passion for creating things - so to write and produce a book that might just make a few dads' lives easier (or give them a few chuckles) is a privilege"
Alex is an author and digital contractor. He works on the world's most popular children's phonics game.
Alex spends the rest of his time with his friends and lovely little family in Bath.
What do readers think of the book?
‘Enjoyed this very much. It’s well thought-out, simply written – always good for a self-help book – and will entice football dads to open it and learn from the author’s wisdom. And there’s plenty of wisdom in there.’ Dad of twins
‘I loved it! The manager’s comments were very funny. In fact, the whole book was funny. That will help keep any dad interested as he soaks up info on the first 12 months of having a child.’ Mum of three
‘If you are feeling stressed about becoming a dad, this will help. Not only will you learn lots of ways of coping with the new child, you might even learn a bit about football. The writing style is very accessible too.’ Dad to be

We all live in the one world together. Let's see how we're different in some ways and the same in other ways.
We all Belong' is a beautifully written and illustrated children's picture book that recognises and celebrates the diversity in a caring group of children.
- A wonderfully flowing, rhyming poem about respect... whatever our culture, whatever the colour of our skin.
- If you like 'All the ways to be smart', you will treasure this.
- A stunning poem about inclusion, with excellent representation of different cultures. Much-needed in today's society.
By recognising differences between cultures and races, and appreciating that everyone is beautiful, children can grow up with empathy - appreciating others around them. 'We all Belong' gives young readers a safe space to see themselves and others through a diverse group of characters. The book includes an activity at the end, to help children appreciate how we are all similar in some ways and different in other ways too.

It's vital that kids see differences, rather than live in a colour-blind world. By creating a friendly school environment, Nathalie and Alex's book gives kids access their own familiar world, and fills it with the love and kindness of a multicultural group of children. There's a closeness between the children, a proximity, that encourages empathy, not racism, to grow.
