About Kathy Borkoski
Kathy Borkoski's parents met in Navy bootcamp, so it wasn't a huge surprise when the Naval Academy topped her list of colleges. Upon graduation from that fine institution in 2001, Kathy took a path less traveled - Navy Diver and Bomb Technician. After 8 years diving, parachuting, and blowing things up, Kathy left the Navy and became a stunt double for 2 years with the deep seated hope that she would one day play herself on TV (but that never happened). She met her wife in 2010 and finally took a calmer job writing proposals and editing, during which time she also competed a little in CrossFit and published a couple books. Kathy currently lives with her family in Menlo Park, CA.
