About Majalise Tolan
Majalise Tolan has been an energetic and proactive educator for eighteen years. She began her administrative career as a high school assistant principal and athletic director and has since served as an intermediate principal, middle school principal, and high school principal. She was the Secondary Teaching and Learning Administrator for the Lincoln County School District, overseeing curriculum and instruction, AVID, athletics, career and technical education, and the Title VI Bureau of Indian Education Program for five secondary schools before becoming Secondary Director. Through her time working as a consultant, she has led multiple districts through standards, instruction, and assessment alignment work. She currently serves as the Past-President for the Oregon Association of Secondary School Administrators and is the co-author of She Leads: A Women's Guide to a Career in Educational Leadership.
