My 4 year old son loves Dr Seuss books, I have bought many of his books, Dr Seuss books made him want to learn to read and the books have so much to offer in teaching kids.
I got this book as my mother always played the short movie of this book on Christmas Eve, figured this would be a good bed time book for the Christmas month, is it ever lol, I have had to read this every night for 10 days and counting.
The pages are mainly black and white with some red, I was surprised and wasn't sure if it would catch my son's eyes, but it made no difference and he loves it, could be because of how I read books to him.
The book and short movie are almost identical, the movie has a little bit extra narration to make it more lengthy and complete, would be nice if the movie addition was added into book form, but still a good book and ends the same.
The book is bigger then your average size Dr Seuss book, it doesn't fit on book shelf with rest of his books, but that is fine.
