This book tries to pull in way too many side stories and details. I found it wordy and confusing. First talking about the different interests of brother bear and sister bear, then saying talking to strangers is dangerous, showing headlines of missing bear, then talks about a side story of a goose being lured in by a fox and only feathers were left, to sister bear having nightmares, to sister bear being terrified to go outside, to talking about apples (some are bad), to an experience with a bear asking them to go in his car, to what they learned.
I can see what they were trying to achieve with the book, but it just felt messy and unorganized. If the flow between topics was smoother then perhaps it would have kept my kids attention. Maybe it would have been better to start off defining what a "stranger" was, instead of going into elaborate story lines and using terms young kids might not understand.
