To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
A very thorough analysis of all communications theories in just one book. Glad it was requested for my class since it was published just last year and thus include the latest research in this field. I'm giving it four stars because I found two factual errors:
p. 179: The Deepwater Horizon accident and subsequent oil spill occurred in 2010, not in 2009.
p. 195: The name of the NASA space shuttle that exploded few seconds after launching was the Challenger, not the Columbia. The Columbia exploded during re-entry in 2003 when seven astronauts also lost their lives.
Great textbook that covers all aspects of crisis communications including communication between EMS organizations. Lots of case studies and examples. Very detailed and complete. This is a textbook you will want to keep.
No page numbers for kindle books. becomes absolutely useless when using for a class since it is impossible to cite things from the book without page numbers. ADD PAGE NUMBERS TO THE BOOK IT'S STUPID NOT TO.
