I've bought this book for a Christmas gift for my 8-year-old grandson - so, he hasn't seen it yet! I think it's delightful - and that he will thoroughly enjoy reading it - even though he finds his reading assignments to be a "chore"! I like that it's funny - even for adults - and - doesn't "talk down" to kids...........I'm looking forward to his reaction on Christmas Day.

My seven year old grandson is what I deem a “reluctant reader.” When he received this book, his father (my son) called me on the Alexa Show so I could watch my grandson read it aloud. Grandson couldn’t help but crack up laughing while reading. A winner!

My son loves it. Such a clever idea and lovely illustrations too. It has a similar style to Oliver Jeffers. He finds it so funny and wants to read it himself! Joy.
