Loved the original, don't love the rewrite. Unfortunately, I didn't read the description very well. I thought I was getting a regular sized book with the original writing in it. Instead I got a sort of condensed version. I knew the wording wasn't right because I've read this book so many times to my children that my mind kept saying, "that's not how it goes". Lucky for me, I remember most of it by heart so, no matter what it says, I will read it by what is SUPPOSED to say. Example: Big R, Little R, Rosie Robin Ross. Rosie's going riding on a red rhinoceros.
