Aging Film, but Holds Up
Reviewed in Canada 🇨🇦 on May 3, 2022
The stunts are great, and Jackie is sensitive as always, but his supporting cast isn't aging well.
By the mid-90s there should have been more whites against whom Jackie could do choreographed stunts and martial arts fights.
The supporting casts's acting is abysmal, even as whites in a martial arts film.
Jackie and his uncle and the only two with chemistry, but at least his love interest and the business woman hold their own. All stuntman roles, however, are really showing their age, both with dated acting and horrid stereotypes (not ethnic).
