Very average book. Did not provide deep insights or provide for a really tantalizing read. I feel the core principles of the book are sound and reasonably well articulated (staying curious, not jumping to giving advice too soon, asking questions which provoke thought and help the student/employee learn and grow, asking the employee to explain what their challenges are or what they have learned).
I would suggest more examples of real world situations be given.
It is a short book and I felt like the author/editors was trying to fill pages to make this a βrealβ book length. It could have frankly been covered in 50 pages or less (not 200).
Now with all these critiques, I should keep in context that the book was relatively inexpensive (17$) so I would still say it is worth it.
I do find it strange that this book has so many 5 star reviews and is a bestseller since it did not give me any βwowβ factor.
