I was actually expecting the paper quality to be low after reading all the reviews.
Took my chance, and to my surprise the paper quality is actually good (not the glossy one like magazines though). I also had read about missing pages in some of the reviews and hence also decided to count each page by myself. None of the pages were missing too.

The only difference being that the standard book comes with around 700 pages, and the Indian edition with 542 pages. It is due to cost cutting and the remaining pages can be downloaded online (the link is available within the book).

I hope this review helps you take a call on whether to buy this book or not.

It's not unknown that cracking the coding interview is one of the top most recommended books for software interviews. So my comments are only specific to the quality of the book. I have seen people complain at the slight off white color of the pages, the font, the smell of the pages, missing content in Indian version. All those people are definitely not serious about programing. The author has done an excellent job in cutting down costs especially on the printing side and not on the content. The book is about 2 inches thick so don't get intimidated. It still has 542 pages. Some of the content that was trimmed out for Indian version is available online shared by the author. The book has the details. Lastly the fond is quite readable and the book is thick due to the spacing between lines which is comfortable to read. The international edition costs about 2.5k INR. So for 599 this book is a steal. Do not hesitate to buy if you are preparing for software interviews.

Received the book in perfect shape. Thanks to Amazon for that. I saw people complaining about the paper quality and book quality but for me it's good.

About the book -
Great content, saw the index before purchasing and then brought the book. It has DSA problems with multiple possible solutions and that's what make this book so bulk. Apart from DSA it also contains SystemDesigns which makes it a complete package.

Additional information includes, how to approach a problem if you are struck and different companies and their interview processes.

Inside it was mentioned by author that some of the contents from the original book were removed for the Indian edition which will help them in cost cutting. But they have provided the links to download those deleted contents.

Overall it's a great book and I suggest it to all.

I ordered from Repro Books-on-demand seller. I got the book well packaged without any damage. The papers are white and standard thick. Yes the Indian edition has couple of behind the scenes chapter not included, and that is mentioned in the book. But these chapters are available online. Please don’t be bothered about the book too much. It delivered before time with utmost care. Go for the purchase, but do keep the seller in mind, as they print the books on demand (pretty much all books are printed on demand, it reduces cost check for DOP method for book printing. )
