Good book but not for non-financial readers

The content is pretty abstract. For a person who doesn’t have much fundamental knowledge about financial statement, it’s pretty hard to understand. Also, I can’t seem to find analogy between the examples in the book and some financial statements from online, using the same formula to test understanding. I would recommend people who has some basic knowledge to get more out of the book.

I wish chapters were more than just 2-4 pages long. I also would have enjoyed them using different companies to compare rather than continuously use Coca-Coka or other holdings that Warren Buffet has.

Great book for beginners! Only caveat I noticed in the book was that certain stocks she advocated against having a competitive advantage are in Berkshire’s portfolio.

Aside from that it goes through the process of looking at financial statements very well’. Be sure to read the intelligent investor to pick up some other accounting gimmicks in order to form accurate calculations
