To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Fun- clear graphics- easy to read! Red kangaroos have 50 joys in their lifetime- who knew!! The numbers do grow from 1- 1000, but unlike other "growing" books it is a random, but higher number so if you are expecting 1, 2, 3, 4... it is not that sequential, instead think 1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100, 200, 550... Back of the book is full of animal facts and even better, the idea of averages and introducing math concepts to emerging readers. I loved the quirky facts, images, and that my 4 year old did too. If you like this book then I suggest checking out the book, Sad Animal Facts!
I think that this is a wonderful book. I am a scientist and I learned a lot from reading this book to my kids! They love it, the illustrations are neat and they like to count the things done during the lifetime of the different animals. It is really a book that both my kids and I truly enjoy.
The book was purchased for small children in my life. They love stories about animals. This book features unusual facts about an unusual array of creatures, each fact involves numbers. The illustrations are fabulous, the learning opportunities are factual and fun!
