To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This is an important book to read. The subject matter is especially significant for readers in countries dealing with with a dispossessed indigenous population. The author considers many facets of the problem and appears fair in his comments and conclusions. My problem with the book is entirely technical; I found the language and syntax difficult and often had to read each phrase two or three times to see what he was getting at. But do not let this dissuade you from tackling the book: it is important, and, thank goodness, it is short.
