We got the Little Explorerers Outer Space book for our 3yo son and given how much he loved all the flaps planned to get this one also. I have to say this one is truly AMAZING! What better content than the body for a flap book! Our son has been fascinated with it and we have read it many times. He has been very excited to learn more about how his body works, and has talked about things his body does since we got this. The best part: the last page is about looking after your amazing body and includes the need for SLEEP! 10/10 recommend!
Very kid friendly, something that can grow with the child from about ages 2-8 I would think. My four year old granddaughter just sat right down on the driveway outside and was spellbound with the pictures and little flaps for seeing inside the body. Really good value. And because it's a cardboard book, her one year old brother probably won't be able to damage it!
Got this for my nephew for Christmas, he’s 3 and instantly wanted to go through it with me, he found parts that he thought were funny and parts he found interesting. Only thing is (and I don’t consider this a downfall) but there are a lot of reveal doors that almost instantly get torn off if they don’t know how to handle it. Parents may need to keep the tape handy. Especially if younger toddlers are around. Would definitely recommend though :)
What a great book! I wish there were more books out there with similar concepts, colors and sturdiness. My little one uses it every day and loves opening up the body parts / organs to see what’s inside or what it does!
Its a good 1st book on body for my son.But the pictures of digestive system compressed to fit into the page. it does not give an apt image of how actually the digestive system looks. But the function of each part is explained well in easy and short description.
Child gender discrimination is missing from this book. Not addressed discretely it is missing all together. If you're looking for a kids bathroom reader, this is great. If you're looking for a book to help you explain the differences between girls and boys bodies to your 7yr old this is not what you want.
This book was loved to death by two of my girls (literally). It was read and flipped and pulled into different directions so many times that it is falling apart and still they are not letting me to get rid of it - going through it again and again, poop section is favorite of course
My daughter really enjoys this book even tho she’s only 3 she can’t fully understand it but she has a lot of interest in the human body. Very colourful and visually stimulating and entertaining with the flap up parts.
